Role Description This is a full-time, in office role for a Speech Language Pathologist based in Chennai.

The Speech Language

Pathologist will assess children with speech, language, and communication difficulties, using standardized tools and clinical observations. The role involves planning and delivering individualized therapy sessions, monitoring progress, and adjusting goals and strategies as needed.

Responsibilities include collaborating with occupational therapists, psychologists, educators, and families to ensure coordinated intervention,



documenting treatment plans and progress reports, and participating in case discussions.

The Speech Language

Pathologist will also provide caregiver training, contribute to awareness or screening programs, and maintain ethical and professional standards in all clinical activities.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in Speech Therapy and assessment of Speech and Communication Disorders
- Ability to diagnose and manage Language Disorders across developmental stages
- Competence in evaluating and treating Dysphagia and related swallowing concerns, where applicable
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Audiology, or equivalent from a recognized institution
- Licensure/registration as required by relevant professional or regulatory bodies
- Experience working with children in clinical, school, or rehabilitation settings is preferred
- Effective communication and documentation skills, with ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and family-centered care
