We are looking for a highly skilled AWS Solution Architect with strong expertise in IoT platforms, real-time data ingestion, and data engineering on AWS. The architect will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-throughput data ingestion and analytics platforms, supporting IoT and data-driven use cases across large-scale enterprise environments.

The role requires deep experience in AWS-native data services, streaming pipelines, data lakes, and visualization using Amazon QuickSight, along with strong stakeholder engagement and architecture governance.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and architect end-to-end AWS-based IoT and data ingestion platforms
- Define scalable real-time and near real-time data ingestion architectures
- Architect and optimize AWS data pipelines and data lakes for high volume and velocity data
- Design reference architectures, HLDs/LLDs, and solution blueprints
- Lead architecture decisions covering performance, security, availability, and cost optimization
- Collaborate with platform, data engineering, and application teams for solution delivery
- Review and govern implementations to ensure alignment with AWS best practices
- Support pre-sales, estimations, and technical solutioning where required
- Mentor engineering teams and review design/code artefacts




- Design end-to-end AWS IoT architectures using AWS IoT Core, MQTT, and serverless services
- Enable secure, bidirectional device-to-cloud communication
- Architect scalable, microservices-based and serverless platforms with 99.9% availability
- Define and govern IoT data ingestion, processing, and storage pipelines
- Lead OTA (Over-the-Air) update strategy and device lifecycle management
- Enforce security-by-design including encryption, IAM, and auditability
- Ensure HIPAA-aligned data protection and regulatory readiness
- Provide architectural oversight for Service, Provider, and Analytics portals
- Support EMR / EHR integrations via secure APIs
- Good to have experience in Health Care domain
- Represent Tata Elxsi as the primary technical interface at the customer site

Required Technical Skills

- AWS & Cloud Architecture
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS Cloud architecture
- Proficiency in AWS core services including: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, CloudFormation/Terraform & Data Ingestion
- Strong experience with AWS IoT Core and IoT data ingestion patterns
- Expertise in real-time data ingestion using Amazon Kinesis (Streams, Firehose), Amazon MSK/Kafka, and AWS IoT Rules Engine




- Experience handling high-throughput, low-latency streaming data systems

Data Engineering & Data Lake

- Strong understanding of AWS Data Lake architectures
- Hands-on experience with S3, AWS Glue, Athena, and Lake Formation
- Experience with EMR and Apache Spark (preferred)
- Proven ability to design ETL/ELT pipelines and large-scale data processing workflows
- Solid understanding of batch vs streaming data processing patterns

Analytics & Visualization

- Hands-on experience with Amazon QuickSight
- Experience in dataset modelling, dashboard development, and performance optimization
- Ability to integrate QuickSight with S3, Athena, Redshift, and other AWS data sources

Security & Governance

- Strong understanding of IAM, encryption, data security, and compliance standards
- Experience with multi-account AWS architectures and governance frameworks
- Knowledge of cost optimization strategies and FinOps principles

Desired / Good-to-Have Skills

- Experience with Amazon Redshift, DynamoDB, and Amazon OpenSearch
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in AWS environments
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CDK
- Experience in telecom, industrial IoT, or large-scale data platforms

- AWS certifications preferred
- AWS Solutions Architect – Professional

- AWS Data Analytics Specialty

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
