Key Responsibilities

- Create and modify 3D parts and assemblies using SolidWorks.

- Design sheet metal enclosures, doors, covers, mounting plates, brackets, supports, and structural frames.

- Develop weldment models and fabrication drawings, including weld symbols and joint details.

- Prepare detailed part drawings, assembly drawings, general arrangement drawings, and exploded views.

- Generate sheet metal flat patterns and DXF files with accurate bend details for fabrication.

- Model and position electrical components such as circuit breakers, meters, terminal blocks, insulators, and associated mounting hardware.

- Develop copper busbar models, arrangements, supports, and detailed manufacturing drawings.

- Verify component fitment, assembly alignment, interference, access, and serviceability.

- Prepare bills of materials, cut lists, hole details, tolerances, and manufacturing notes.

- Update models and drawings based on client comments, design changes, and manufacturing feedback.

- Maintain consistent part numbering,



file references, drawing revisions, and documentation.

- Coordinate with electrical engineers and manufacturing teams to resolve design and assembly issues.

Required Skills

- Strong practical knowledge of SolidWorks part modeling, assemblies, sheet metal, weldments, and drafting.

- Working knowledge of AutoCAD for reviewing and modifying 2D drawings.

- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, client redlines, and component datasheets.

- Understanding of sheet metal fabrication, bending, welding, fastening, and assembly processes.

- Knowledge of dimensional tolerances, fits, GD&T; fundamentals, and welding symbols.

- Ability to produce clear, accurate drawings suitable for manufacturing.

- Robust attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
