Role Summary

We are looking for a Software Quality Engineer (SQE) to drive software verification and validation activities across cloud services, edge applications, and platform solutions. The role involves test planning, automation, requirements traceability,

defect management, and release verification in a regulated software environment.

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Execution

- Create test strategies, test plans, test cases, and verification protocols.
- Perform manual, exploratory, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Review requirements, architecture, and user stories for completeness and testability.
- Support risk-based testing and release readiness assessments.

Test Automation

- Develop and maintain automated tests for:

- APIs and backend services
- Web applications and user workflows
- System and command-line tools

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test failures and improve test coverage and reliability.

Requirements Traceability

- Manage end-to-end traceability using Jama Connect:

- Requirements Risk Controls Test Cases Test Results

Defects
- Create and maintain traceability matrices and coverage reports.
- Ensure audit-ready test documentation and approvals.

Defect & Release Quality
- Log, track, verify, and retest defects.
- Perform regression impact analysis and root-cause investigations.
- Support Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), release reviews, and phase-gate assessments.




- Prepare verification reports, test evidence, release notes, and quality summaries.

Required Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,

Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

- 6+ years of software testing and verification experience.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience in regulated or quality-driven industries is preferred.

Technical Skills

- Test automation using C#/.NET or TypeScript/JavaScript.
- API testing and web automation using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Experience with Jama Connect, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Linux, and Windows.
- Basic understanding of containers, networking, authentication, and security concepts.

Standards & Compliance
- Knowledge of software development and quality standards such as:

- IEC 62304
- ISO 13485
- ISO 14971
- FDA/MDR software guidance

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud, distributed, or edge-based systems.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity testing and vulnerability verification.
- ISTQB certification.
- Experience supporting audits, DHF documentation, and regulatory submissions.
