? Hiring: Software Engineer (Svelte / Python / GenAI) | 3-6 Month Contract (Can be converted FT) | Hybrid: Andhra Pradesh, India

At V-OptimAIse, we are applying machine learning to aggressively reduce the carbon footprint of steel manufacturing. We develop self-learning predictive and diagnostic tools that identify production bottlenecks, detect product anomalies, and prevent critical failures. By harnessing previously underutilized data, we maximize productivity and reliability on the factory floor.

We are actively looking for an experienced Software Engineer for a 3-6 month on-site contract in Andhra Pradesh. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of data science and software engineering to build out end-to-end, AI-powered applications.

What You Will Do:

- Design, develop, and maintain energetic, high-performance front-end applications using Svelte and Gen UI paradigms.
- Architect and scale robust back-end services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Drive the engineering of GenAI and Agentic AI-based products, creating intuitive interfaces for complex predictive and diagnostic tools.
- Manage and optimize relational data architectures using PostgreSQL.
- Handle Edge deployments for industrial environments to ensure low-latency, highly reliable tool performance directly on the manufacturing floor.
- Write clean, testable code, participate in peer code reviews, and troubleshoot issues in live production environments.




- Collaborate closely with data scientists, cross-functional engineering teams, and product stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

What You Bring (Required):

- 3+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in modern front-end development with Svelte, JavaScript/TypeScript, Vite, and related tooling.
- Proven back-end expertise using Python and FastAPI.
- Practical, hands-on experience building and deploying GenAI and Agentic AI features into production products.
- Solid database engineering experience utilizing PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Edge deployment strategies, collaborative workflows (Git), and modular software design.
- Ability to work on-site in Andhra Pradesh and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable & Bonus Points:

- B.E. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a strictly related discipline.
- Experience integrating and managing Vector Databases (e.g., pgvector, Pinecone, Milvus).
- Hands-on experience with LangGraph for building and orchestrating complex agentic workflows.
- Prior experience in industrial domains, data-driven manufacturing applications, or heavy industry AI/ML products.
