We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Java, Selenium, and API Testing. The ideal candidate should have excellent automation testing expertise with a primary focus on API Testing (80%) and UI Testing (20%). Experience with Playwright and solid Java coding skills from a testing perspective are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API and UI testing
- Perform API automation using Java-based frameworks
- Execute UI automation using Selenium and Playwright
- Design test cases, test plans, and automation strategies
- Collaborate with developers and business teams for defect tracking and resolution
- Ensure quality standards throughout the SDLC process
- Participate in code reviews and framework enhancements
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Java
- Expertise in Selenium Automation Testing
- Strong experience in API Testing & Automation
- Experience with Playwright
- Good coding and debugging skills from a testing perspective
- Knowledge of TestNG/JUnit, Maven, REST Assured, Git, CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
