We are looking for a Software Development Engineer II – Backend to join the CMS Engineering team and contribute to building reliable, scalable systems that power large-scale content platforms.
What We're Looking For:
Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
Proficiency in Python and REST API development
Experience building and maintaining distributed systems and microservices
Hands-on exposure to AWS services, including S3, SQS, and SNS
Knowledge of event-driven architecture, Kafka,
and asynchronous workflows
Experience with Redis/Memcached, database optimization, and caching strategies
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools
Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and production reliability
