Role Description The Social Media Channel Handler is a full time, on-site role based in Chandigarh, India. This role is responsible for managing the company’s social media channels, including planning, creating, and publishing engaging content aligned with brand and business objectives. The position involves monitoring social media activity, responding to comments and messages, and building online communities that reflect Secrotech’s values and services.

and recommend improvements to enhance reach and engagement. Collaboration with internal teams to gather updates, support campaigns, and maintain a consistent online presence across platforms is a key part of the day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in social media management, including handling multiple platforms (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube) and scheduling posts.
- Ability to create clear, concise, and engaging content, including posts, captions, and basic copywriting tailored to different audiences.
- Experience in basic graphic design or use of content creation tools (such as Canva or similar) to develop visual assets for social media.
- Familiarity with social media analytics, insights tools, and reporting to measure performance and optimize campaigns.
- Good understanding of digital marketing concepts, brand awareness, and audience engagement strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional local language skills are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage tasks with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field preferred; prior experience in social media or digital marketing roles is beneficial.
