Role Description The Site Supervisor for Interiors is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing interior execution work at project sites. The position involves supervising daily site activities, coordinating with contractors, vendors, and the in-house design team to ensure work is carried out as per drawings, quality standards, and safety norms.

The Site

Supervisor monitors progress, manages manpower and materials, and ensures timely completion of tasks such as carpentry, gypsum work, partitions, painting, electrical and plumbing installations, and finishing works. The role requires maintaining detailed site records, preparing daily/weekly reports, and promptly escalating issues related to timelines, quality,



or resources.

The Site

Supervisor also conducts regular inspections, ensures compliance with client specifications, and supports smooth handover of completed areas.

Qualifications

- Technical and site management skills: ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings, supervise execution of carpentry, gypsum, partitions, electrical, plumbing, painting, and finishing works.
- Project coordination skills: experience in coordinating with contractors, vendors, and internal teams, managing site schedules, materials, and manpower, and ensuring adherence to project timelines.
- Quality, safety, and compliance skills: strong focus on workmanship quality, adherence to safety standards, site housekeeping, and compliance with company and client procedures.
- Communication and leadership skills: effective verbal and written communication, ability to lead and motivate site teams, manage conflicts, and maintain professional client interactions.
- Documentation and reporting skills: capability to maintain site logs, prepare daily progress reports, track material consumption, and support billing and measurement documentation.
- Educational background: diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field; relevant certifications in site supervision or safety are an advantage.
- Experience: prior experience in interior fit-out or turnkey projects, preferably in commercial or corporate interiors; familiarity with Mumbai building norms and local vendors is beneficial.
