Knowledge of GI/GL process in depth including process capability, equipment, interlocks
- Preferably had in depth work experience in duel pot GI/GL High speed Lines (>150 mpm)
- Ensure targeted productivity, utilization, efficiency, quality, yield, cost of production of coating line.
- Coordination with external and internal; stakeholders
- Implementation of various de-bottlenecking and process improvement activities
- Deployment of all safety standards and with overall understanding of safety culture
- Knowledge of SAP, TQM, MES and management systems functioning like QMS, EMS, EnMS, OHSAS
- Planning estimation, budgeting activities of Coating Plant.
- Overall knowledge of inductor changing, lancing, pot cleaning process
- Excellence in implementation of 5S and Autonomous Maintenance activities at shop floor
- Conversant with yard management practices, inventory movement and overall functioning of Coated GI/GL plant from input to output.
- Effective and productive utilization of shift manpower
- Well conversant with soft skills - report generation in excel, PPT preparation.
- Knowledge of HR grades and their process parameters at GI/GL lines for Soft/Hard/Structural grades.
- In depth knowledge of various CR defects,
HR defects affecting GI/GL product quality.
- Knowledge of various GI/GL defects with an online corrective action plan.
- Preparation of shutdown plan and effective compliance with coordinating departments.
- Knowledge of bath chemistry, alloying elements in GI/GL bath and effectively managing standard composition.

Educational Background And Work Experience
BE –Mechanical/Production/Metallurgy Engineering (3+ Years of experience) with core process knowledge of GIGL Operations
