Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced accounting professional with extensive, hands-on Senior US Payroll Accountant with QuickBooks Desktop experience and strong accounting knowledge. The ideal candidate must demonstrate solid accounting comprehension beyond basic data entry and be capable of taking on increasingly complex responsibilities over time.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4 hours per day, Adaptable within Florida Business Hours (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping using QuickBooks Desktop .
- Process U.S. payroll, including deductions, taxes, and related records.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with financial reporting and month-end closing.
- Handle complex accounting tasks and take on additional responsibilities as the business grows.

Requirements

- Must have 2 large monitors for their desktop.
- Extensive, demonstrable QuickBooks Desktop experience (top priority).




- Extensive accounting experience with a solid foundation in accounting principles and practices.
- Substantial hands-on U.S. payroll experience and knowledge of payroll taxes and compliance.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle responsibilities beyond routine data entry.
