Job Title – Structural Design Engineer

Location – Pune

We are looking for an experienced Structural Design Engineer to lead our in-house structural design and development function. The role will be responsible for overseeing structural design activities across projects, reviewing structural calculations and drawings, and coordinating with external structural consultants to ensure technically sound, cost-effective, and compliant design solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in structural design, the ability to drive design development from concept to execution, and the skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities -

- Lead and manage the in-house structural design team, ensuring timely delivery of design inputs, drawings, and technical deliverables across projects.
- Oversee structural design and development for residential, commercial, and other real estate projects, from conceptual design through detailed design.




- Review and validate structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and design submissions to ensure technical accuracy, safety, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Coordinate with external structural design consultants, architects, MEP teams, and project execution teams to ensure design alignment and timely resolution of technical queries.
- Evaluate structural design proposals and recommend practical, efficient, and cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or structural integrity.
- Ensure coordination between design intent, construction requirements, project specifications, and execution feasibility.
- Monitor design deliverables, identify potential design issues, and drive timely closure of technical discrepancies and design changes.
- Provide technical guidance to the team and contribute to continuous improvement in design standards, processes, and coordination practices.

Must-Have Skills -

- Strong expertise in structural design and analysis for real estate and commercial projects.
- Experience in managing an in-house structural design team and coordinating with external design consultants.
- Proficiency in reviewing structural drawings, design calculations, specifications, and technical submissions.
- Sound knowledge of relevant structural design codes, standards,



and building regulations.
- Ability to evaluate design feasibility, structural efficiency, and cost optimization.
- Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.

Preferred Skills -

- Experience with residential high-rise, commercial, township, or large-scale real estate developments.
- Exposure to structural design software and analysis tools.
- Experience in design coordination with architecture, MEP, planning, and execution teams.
- Understanding of construction methodologies and practical site-level design challenges.
- Experience in establishing design standards, review mechanisms, and productive consultant coordination processes.

Educational Background -

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from an AICTE-approved and/or UGC-recognized institution.
- M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering preferred.
