Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in Golang and cloud-native backend development to design, develop, and operate scalable cloud services and distributed systems.

The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience with Go (Golang), Kubernetes, cloud-native platforms, NoSQL databases, and event-driven architectures. The role requires end-to-end ownership of backend services, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to leverage AI tools and agents across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud services and distributed backend systems.
- Own services throughout the entire lifecycle, including architecture, development, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
- Lead technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
- Build reliable, high-performance backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, Mobile, and other cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in distributed and cloud-native environments.
- Implement event-driven architectures and integrate messaging technologies.
- Leverage AI tools and agents to improve development productivity, code quality, testing, debugging, documentation, and operational efficiency.
- Follow software engineering best practices for security, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards and technical excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software development experience; 8 years preferred.




- Strong hands-on proficiency in Golang (Go) .
- Production experience with cloud-native platforms and Kubernetes .
- Experience designing and operating distributed systems and scalable backend services.
- Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architectures and asynchronous communication.
- Experience developing and maintaining APIs for reliable, high-availability systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and production-support skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in AI-native software engineering, including the use of AI tools and agents across requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, code reviews, documentation, and operations.
- Knowledge of Kafka, MQTT, or similar messaging technologies.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, or modern frontend development is an added advantage.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical discussions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
