: Senior SAP HANA Developer – Snowflake

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP HANA Developer with robust expertise in SAP HANA data modelling, performance optimization, and database development, along with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake. The ideal candidate should have experience developing advanced data models, calculation views, SQLScript procedures, and data integration solutions across SAP HANA and BTP environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Data Modelling: Design, develop, and maintain SAP HANA artifacts, including Calculation Views, Core Data Services (CDS) Views, and SQLScript procedures.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize database queries, implement code pushdown techniques, and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
- Database Development: Develop and enhance high-performance database routines within SAP HANA and SAP BTP environments.
- Snowflake Development: Leverage Snowflake expertise for data modelling, SQL development, query optimization, and data processing.
- ABAP Integration: Implement ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) to improve database performance and processing efficiency, where applicable.




- Integration & APIs: Develop and manage OData services and data pipelines for seamless integration with external and legacy systems.
- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Code Quality: Conduct code reviews, resolve technical issues, and ensure adherence to development and performance standards.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP HANA Development and Data Modelling.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in Snowflake.
- Expertise in Calculation Views, CDS Views, and SQLScript.
- Strong SQL programming and database performance tuning skills.
- Experience with SAP HANA/BTP environments.
- Knowledge of OData services, APIs, and data pipeline integration.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have
- Experience with ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP).
- Knowledge of SAP ABAP and SAP application integration.
- Experience working with enterprise data platforms and complex data models.
