Job Brief
We are looking for a committed and experienced Senior Legal Advisor to join our client's Corporate Commercial Practice Area Team. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal counsel on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including contracts, regulatory compliance, and corporate structuring.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts and agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, vendor and client contracts, and service agreements.
- Stay abreast of developments in corporate and commercial laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external counsels on complex legal assignments.
- Contribute to building and updating the firm’s template and legal knowledge repository.
- Conduct high-quality legal research and analysis on evolving statutes, case law, and regulatory trends
- Interface with senior stakeholders, including client leadership and internal cross-functional teams
- Assist in mentoring junior legal staff and fostering a collaborative team environment
Education & Certification Qualifications
- Law degree from an accredited law school
Must Have Qualifications
- Robust experience in corporate and commercial laws.
- Deep understanding of contract law, company law, and applicable business regulations.
- Proven drafting and negotiation skills for a wide range of legal documents.
- Detail-oriented with high standards for legal accuracy and risk assessment.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with high levels of integrity and professionalism.
- Exposure to international contract negotiation or cross-border matters is a plus
- Excellent legal drafting and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to lead client discussions and internal reviews independently
- Proven track record of handling client relationships and managing deliverables within timelines
