Role Description The Senior Interior Designer is a full time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role involves leading interior design projects from concept to completion, including client consultations, needs assessment, and development of design briefs.

The Senior Interior

Designer will create design concepts, space plans, mood boards, and material/finish selections, while coordinating FF&E; and ensuring alignment with architectural intent. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing construction drawings, collaborating with architects, consultants, and contractors, managing timelines and quality standards, and overseeing onsite execution. The role also includes mentoring junior team members, maintaining documentation,



and ensuring designs are sustainable, functional, and aligned with client requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with experience developing cohesive concepts for residential, retail, commercial, corporate, or hospitality projects.
- Proficiency in Architecture coordination and understanding of building systems to ensure designs integrate with structural and MEP requirements.
- Ability to produce and review detailed Construction Drawings, including layouts, elevations, sections, and joinery details.
- Hands-on experience with FF&E; selection and specification, including furniture, fixtures, finishes, and lighting that support design intent and budget.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), and strong visualization skills.
- Demonstrated project management abilities, including scheduling, budgeting, vendor coordination, and site supervision.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in sustainable design practices and familiarity with contemporary materials and trends.
- Previous experience in a senior or lead designer capacity within a design or architecture firm.
