We’re looking for a Senior Slot Game Designer to conceptualize and own end-to-end design of innovative, engaging slot games. You will collaborate across teams to craft game mechanics, create detailed design documents, and drive live operations. A strong grasp of RNG, game balancing, and player psychology is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Game Mechanics Design: Design and develop innovative slot game concepts with engaging mechanics — base game, free spins, hold-and-spin, cascades, multipliers, jackpots and bonus features
- Math Collaboration: Partner with game mathematicians to set RTP, volatility and hit-frequency targets, and review simulations and PAR sheets to confirm the math delivers the intended feel
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive game design documentation, including design briefs, wireframes, and prototypes
- Regulatory Support: Prepare accurate game rules, help screens and design documentation for certification submissions (GLI-11 / GLI-19 and US jurisdictions)
- Collaboration: Work closely with math, art, animation, sound and development teams to ensure a cohesive and high-quality gaming experience
- Playtesting: Conduct playtesting sessions, gather feedback, and iterate on game design based on client and user input
- Market & Performance Analysis: Track competitor releases and game performance data to refine live games and inform new concepts
- Industry Awareness: Stay current with industry trends and integrate new ideas and technologies into your designs

Required Skills

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Game Designer at a slot game company (land-based, online real-money or social casino slots)
- In-depth understanding of advanced RNG mechanics, mathematical balancing, and game progression
- Working knowledge of slot math — RTP, volatility, hit frequency, paytables and reel strips — and the ability to read PAR sheets and simulation results
- Advanced Excel skills for paytable prototyping and feature modelling
- Proven ability to create detailed Game Design Documents (GDD) and clearly describe algorithms, including complex calculations and formulas
- A portfolio of at least 2 shipped slot titles, with your design contribution clearly described
- Strong passion for designing, developing, and taking full ownership of key game features
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
- Deep enthusiasm for slot games and a solid understanding of player psychology, pacing and reward loops

Nice to Have





- Experience with US Class II / Class III or VLT games, and knowledge of GLI-11, GLI-19 and major US jurisdictions (Nevada, New Jersey, tribal markets)
- Hands-on slot math modelling and simulation in Python, C++, C# or VBA
- Experience designing crash games, bonus buys, provably fair mechanics or skill-based gaming features
- Background in social casino live-ops, events and meta-systems (collections, progression, tournaments)
- Familiarity with HTML5 slot production, Unity or proprietary slot engines, and RGS integration
- Wireframing and mock-up skills in Figma, Balsamiq, Photoshop or Illustrator
- Experience with Jira or similar tools in an Agile studio
- Prior people leadership or mentoring of game designers
