We are looking for two experienced and customer-oriented Senior F&B; Assistants to join our hospitality team in Chandigarh. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality dining experiences by managing table services, guiding junior staff, and resolving guest issues promptly. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a skilled attitude, and a solid background in food and beverage operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Guest Service: Welcoming guests, presenting menus, taking accurate orders, and serving food and beverages with a high standard of hospitality.
* Team Assistance: Guiding and mentoring junior service staff to maintain consistent service standards during busy shifts.
* Order Management: Upselling menu items, answering detailed questions about ingredients, and handling billing procedures accurately.
* Quality Control: Ensuring compliance with all sanitation, health, and safety regulations in the dining area.
* Issue Resolution:
Handling guest feedback and complaints professionally, escalating complex issues to the F&B; Manager when necessary.
* Side Duties: Supervising the setup and clearing of tables, checking inventory, and ensuring the dining area remains clean and organized.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of experience as an F&B; Assistant or Server in a reputed restaurant, café, or hotel.
* Education: High school diploma or a degree/diploma in Hotel Management/Hospitality is preferred.
* Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a basic understanding of POS billing systems.
* Attributes: Professional appearance, positive attitude, ability to work well under pressure, and flexibility to work in shifts (including weekends and holidays).
