Role Description The Senior Director Human Resources is a full time, on-site role based in Chennai. This position oversees HR strategy and operations, including designing and implementing HR policies, managing talent acquisition, and guiding performance management processes. The role involves leading employee relations initiatives, coaching managers on HR best practices, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws.

Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing HR metrics, mentoring HR team members, resolving complex employee issues, and supporting change management across the organization.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Human Resources (HR) operations and strategic HR leadership.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies.
- Proficiency in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, engagement, and retention initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with Performance Management frameworks and processes.
- In-depth knowledge of Labor and Employment Law and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to lead and develop HR teams, with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is an advantage.
- Experience in senior HR leadership roles within dynamic, growth-oriented organizations.
