Configure and manage Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Cloud Control.
- Administer Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB environments on-premises and on AWS RDS / Aurora, GCP Cloud SQL, and Azure Database — including replication topology (async, Group Replication, GTID), HA configuration, physical and logical backup/recovery, PITR, and performance tuning.
- Execute cloud database migrations — rehosting and replatforming workloads to OCI, AWS, and Azure SQL using native tools, and platform-specific migration services
- Administer OCI database services (Base Database, Exadata, Autonomous Database) and manage OCI tenancy resources
- Administer AWS database services — RDS, Aurora, and EC2-hosted databases — with S3 backup and CloudWatch monitoring.
- Manage Azure SQL Database, SQL Managed Instance, and Azure Database for PostgreSQL / MySQL; support GCP Cloud SQL and BigQuery as required
- Execute cloud database migrations Services on all major public and private cloud.

- Assist data engineering teams with database connectivity, gateway configuration, and pipeline troubleshooting; dataset refresh,
DirectQuery connections (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL), gateway management, and database query performance troubleshooting
Job Expectation
- Perform day-to-day database administration tasks for Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MariaDB — covering installation, configuration, patching, performance tuning, native backup and recovery, high availability (RAC, Always On, replication), disaster recovery, and security hardening in both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Monitor database environments proactively using applicable monitoring tools; deliver scheduled health checks, capacity planning reviews, performance trend analysis, and monthly operational reports (backup status, patch compliance, open incidents, and recommendations)
- Participate in client-facing migration projects, platform consolidations, and version upgrade engagements — conduct discovery and assessment workshops, design target-state cloud architectures, execute end-to-end migration deliverables, cutover planning, post-migration validation, and performance benchmarking
- Deliver Database migration and implementation projects — RMAN lift-and-shift to OCI, EBS cloning, adop patching, AutoConfig, and Data Guard setup
- Author and maintain technical documentation — as-built documents, migration runbooks, cutover plans, rollback procedures, and post-migration reports.
