Senior Buyer / Senior Procurement Officer

Anyone can raise a PO. We need someone who can look at the numbers and the stock room at the same time, spots a sales spike before it becomes a stock-out, speaks confidently to a UK supplier, negotiates a fair outcome, and stays on it until it’s resolved.

The best buyers also think like sellers: they know what customers want and what will sell, and buy accordingly. If you see buying as more than placing orders, this is your seat at the table.

Please note: This role is based in our Noida office and follows Indian Standard Time. It is not a UK shift role. You’ll work closely with UK colleagues and suppliers during the day, but your hours follow IST.

What You’ll Own

- Supplier Relationships: build strong, lasting relationships with our UK suppliers, based on trust and follow-through
- Data-Led Buying: use sales trends, demand patterns and stock levels to decide what to buy, how much and when
- Buying for the Customer: understand what sells, to whom and why, and work with sales and marketing so you buy what customers actually want
- Stock Management: spot slow-moving stock, excess inventory and stock-out risks before they become problems
- Commercial Negotiation:



lead supplier conversations and negotiate pricing, terms and outcomes that protect margin
- Business Impact: make buying decisions that support availability, healthy stock levels and profitability

Must Haves

- Real buying experience: you’ve decided what to buy, how much and when
- Comfortable negotiating with suppliers and resolving issues until they’re closed
- Understands stock, margin and sell-through, not just purchase orders
- Takes ownership from start to finish
- Able to work full-time on-site from Noida, Sector 62

Nice to Have

- E-commerce experience, especially buying for fast-moving online ranges using sales data, pricing and promotions
- Experience buying tools, hardware, construction products or trade supplies
- A track record of catching slow-moving stock or stock-out risks early
- Leadership instincts and an interest in helping grow the buying function
