Role Description The Senior CAD Watch/Timepiece File Technician (India Remote · Project-Based) technician will support the design and production team by preparing, organizing, and refining 3D CAD files for watch pieces, ensuring that models meet brand, technical, and manufacturing standards. Daily tasks include translating design sketches into precise digital models, updating technical drawings, verifying dimensions and tolerances, and maintaining consistent CAD standards across projects.



The role also involves coordinating with designers and production partners to ensure files are ready for prototyping or manufacturing, troubleshooting file issues, and documenting revisions and version histories.

This position offers exposure to the full lifecycle of watch design development, from concept to production-ready files, in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and workflows relevant to watch case modeling, with a solid understanding of CAD Standards and file organization.
- Expert at MatrixGold or similar.
- Attention to detail, including precision in measurements, tolerances, and model integrity, and the ability to review and self-check work before submission.
- Ability to follow technical guidelines, accept feedback, and iterate quickly in a collaborative environment across time zones.
- Reliable internet connection and hardware capable of running CAD software efficiently for remote work.
- Watch bracelet design a plus
