As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will build and maintain the backend services and APIs that power the client’s delivery care platform. You'll define and scale core system architecture with a focus on long-term reliability and speed, owning features end-to-end from design through production support.
You will collaborate closely with clinical, product, and engineering teams to stitch together fragmented healthcare services into a unified patient experience.
You'll also play an active role in shaping engineering culture and navigating trade-offs between product velocity and technical debt.
- Build production-grade backend systems and APIs for a healthcare platform
- Own architecture decisions and feature delivery from design to rollout
- Work asynchronously with US-based teams from the Bengaluru hybrid office
- Contribute to engineering culture and technical decision-making at a growth-stage company
5+ years of experience building production-grade backend systems
- Robust programming skills in at least one of: Go, Java, C++, C#, Ruby, or Scala
- Deep understanding of scalable architecture, distributed systems, and DevOps practices
- Experience working in fast-paced product teams with a builder mindset
- Comfortable working asynchronously and remotely with US-based teams
Bonus: Experience in healthcare or high-compliance environments (e.g., HIPAA)
