Role Description The Senior Accountant role is a full-time, remote position responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s financial operations. Day-to-day activities include maintaining general ledger accounts, preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and performing reconciliations.

Accountant will handle budgeting and forecasting, monitor cash flow, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.



This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and assist with audits and financial reporting to stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong professional experience with general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management.
- Knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS), tax regulations, and internal control frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with accounting and ERP software, spreadsheets, and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; skilled certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is preferred.
- Experience in SaaS, online education, or technology-driven businesses is an advantage.
