Job Summary

The role involves coordinating between the sales team, ocean carriers and operations team to support sea freight activities, including FCL and LCL shipments, through freight pricing, quotation preparation, shipment coordination and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

· Ocean Freight Pricing & Quotations:



Obtain competitive freight rates from shipping lines and partners and prepare timely customer quotations.

· Routing & Commercial Support: Provide information on shipping routes, transit times, service options and Incoterms 2020.

· Sales Coordination & Reporting: Assist with proposals, RFQs, RFPs, sales pipeline management and weekly/monthly MIS reports.

· Customer Support & Relationship Management: Handle customer queries, track shipments and resolve service-related issues to maintain customer satisfaction.

Key Skills Required

· Understanding of FCL, LCL, global shipping routes, ports and container types.

· Ability to coordinate with shipping lines and freight partners to obtain competitive rates.

· Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM systems and transportation management systems (TMS).

· Robust communication and negotiation skills to prepare quotations and coordinate with customers and internal teams.

· Ability to analyses freight rates, maintain pricing records and prepare MIS reports.
