Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager – Health Insurance role based in the Amritsar/Ludhiana area.

The Sales

Manager will be responsible for driving health insurance sales, managing a local sales team, and achieving assigned premium and profitability targets. Day-to-day activities include identifying and acquiring new customers, nurturing relationships with channel partners, agents, and corporate clients, and conducting regular market visits. The role involves planning and executing sales strategies, conducting product presentations, ensuring accurate proposal and policy documentation,



and maintaining compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.

The Sales

Manager will also monitor sales performance, prepare periodic reports, support training and development of the team, and provide feedback to product and operations teams to improve offerings and service quality.

Qualifications

- Strong sales and business development skills in health or general insurance, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Experience in team management, including mentoring, performance tracking, and motivating on-ground sales staff or agents.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities for working with customers, distributors, and corporate partners.
- Sound understanding of health insurance products, underwriting basics, and regulatory norms; prior experience in insurance or financial services is highly preferred.
- Ability to analyze local market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop effective sales plans for the Amritsar/Ludhiana area.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with proficiency in using MS Office and basic CRM or sales reporting tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
- Comfort working in office with extensive field travel, and a customer-focused mindset aligned with Magma General Insurance’s service standards.
