Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales and Application Engineer role based in the Greater Chennai Area. The role involves identifying customer requirements, evaluating applications, and recommending appropriate engineering products and solutions from the company’s portfolio. The Sales and Application Engineer will conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations, prepare quotations, and follow up on opportunities to drive sales growth in assigned territories or verticals.

Day-to-day responsibilities include providing application support, resolving technical queries, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams,



and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and project timelines. The role also includes visiting customer sites, supporting trials and installations, and contributing feedback to improve offerings, customer satisfaction, and overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong Sales Engineering and Sales skills, with the ability to understand customer requirements and convert technical solutions into business value.
- Hands-on Technical Support experience, including troubleshooting, application assistance, and post-sales customer support for industrial or engineering products.
- Foundational knowledge in Mechanical Engineering for machining, tooling, automation, or industrial equipment applications.
- Foundational knowledge in Electrical Engineering for automation, control systems, and related industrial solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with industrial tools, CNC machines, cutting tools, metrology, or automation solutions is highly beneficial.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, build customer relationships, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Comfort with field visits, customer site work, and travel within the Greater Chennai Area and nearby regions as required.
- Proficiency in basic office and CRM tools, with solid documentation and organizational skills.
