- Verify PTW, HIRA/JSA, toolbox talk, competency, authorization, inspection tags and calibrated test instruments.
- Check isolation, LOTO/COHE, absence-of-voltage verification, barricading, signage, restricted approach and emergency access.
- Monitor PPE, arc-flash controls where applicable, insulated tools, portable-tool electrical safety and housekeeping.
- Check work-at-height controls, scaffold/ladder status, lifeline/anchorage, dropped-object prevention and exclusion zones.
- Check hot-work permit, fire watch, spark containment, gas-cylinder controls and fire extinguishers for cutting/grinding.
- Ensure damaged tools/leads are quarantined and field deviations are corrected before restart.
- Maintain inspection observations, permit records, incident/near-miss reporting and emergency communication.
Preferred candidate profile Recognized safety qualification of minimum 5 years and project/site-required competency. Electrical-safety awareness and LOTO/COHE knowledge required.
