Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced RevStream Application Consultant to support revenue operations, revenue processing, application integrations, data staging, and financial-close activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with RevStream configuration, revenue rules, SQL-based data analysis, reconciliation, and API/batch integration troubleshooting.

The candidate must be capable of independently diagnosing and resolving production incidents, ensuring accurate revenue processing, maintaining operational documentation, and coordinating with finance, data, integration, and product-vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2/L3 production support for RevStream applications and revenue-processing operations.
- Investigate and resolve revenue-processing incidents, calculation discrepancies, and application issues.
- Support RevStream configuration, revenue rules, data loads, staging, and reconciliation activities.
- Perform SQL-based analysis to identify data inconsistencies and troubleshoot processing issues.
- Diagnose API interfaces, system integrations, batch jobs, and data-processing failures.
- Support monthly financial-close activities and critical revenue-processing windows.
- Coordinate with business users, finance teams, HMH Service Desk, NOC/ProdOps, retained technical teams, and product vendors.
- Create and maintain operational runbooks, Known Error Database (KEDB) articles, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) records, and transition documentation.
- Estimate minor application changes, assist with testing, and validate production releases.




- Manage incident escalations and participate in the defined P1 on-call rotation.
- Maintain clear communication and ensure timely resolution of production issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in application support, production support, or financial systems.
- Hands-on experience with RevStream configuration and application operations.
- Strong understanding of revenue rules, revenue processing, and data-management workflows.
- Experience supporting monthly financial close, reconciliation, and revenue-processing activities.
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis for troubleshooting and validation.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting APIs, integrations, batch jobs, and data interfaces.
- Practical experience in L2/L3 production support and independent incident diagnosis.
- Knowledge of incident management, problem management, RCA, and operational documentation.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in the assigned IST/EST-aligned shift and participate in the P1 on-call rotation.
- Availability to support financial-close cycles and critical revenue-processing windows.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with revenue-recognition applications or financial systems.
- Familiarity with revenue accounting processes, financial data reconciliation, and enterprise application integrations.
- Experience coordinating with finance, data, technical support, and product-vendor teams.

Work Expectations
