Role Description The Resident Nurse is a full-time, on-site role based at Gracias Living in Gurugram. This role involves providing direct nursing care to residents, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, coordinating treatment plans, and supporting daily living activities as needed.

The Resident

Nurse collaborates with physicians, caregivers, and families to ensure safe, individualized care that aligns with residents’ preferences and medical requirements. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, overseeing infection control and safety protocols,



and educating residents and families on health conditions and wellness practices. The role also includes participating in care-plan meetings, supporting recreational and wellness activities, and contributing to a calm, respectful, and person-centered environment.

Qualifications

- Relevant nursing qualification (GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, or equivalent) and valid nursing registration/license as per local regulations.
- Experience in geriatric, assisted living, home care, or medical-surgical nursing, preferably in a residential or long-term care setting.
- Strong clinical skills in medication administration, vital sign monitoring, basic wound care, and emergency response.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic, dignity-focused care and to support residents’ emotional and social well-being.
- Proficiency in maintaining detailed clinical records and following established care protocols and safety standards.
- Ability to work in shifts, manage multiple residents’ needs, and remain calm and organized in urgent situations.
- Basic computer skills for electronic health records and reporting; familiarity with wellness and preventive care practices is an advantage.
- Comfort working in a multicultural workplace and respecting diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and preferences.
