Role Description The Research Publication Advisor is responsible for guiding clients through the process of planning, developing, and positioning research for publication in relevant journals and conferences. This contract, remote role involves reviewing research manuscripts, advising on structure and methodology, and providing feedback on clarity, impact, and suitability for target publications. The Advisor will conduct and interpret market and academic research to identify appropriate outlets, analyze trends, and support clients in aligning their work with publication standards.

Day-to-day tasks include holding virtual consultations, preparing written recommendations, coordinating timelines for revision and submission,



and collaborating with clients to strengthen their research narratives. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of journal requirements, ethical standards, and best practices in research dissemination.

Qualifications

- Strong Market Research and Analytical Skills to evaluate publication opportunities, trends, and audience needs.
- Demonstrated expertise in Research and Research and Development (R&D;) to assess methodology, rigor, and innovation in client projects.
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and provide constructive, actionable feedback.
- Experience in academic publishing, journal or conference submissions, or editorial work is highly beneficial.
- Advanced degree in a research-intensive field (e.g., sciences, social sciences, engineering, or related disciplines) preferred.
- Robust writing and editing abilities, with attention to detail, structure, and coherence in scholarly work.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines with consistency.
- Familiarity with research ethics, citation standards, and publication guidelines (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago, discipline-specific formats).
