Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Manager – Legal to manage corporate legal affairs, arbitration, debt recovery, litigation, and legal compliance.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in corporate law, dispute resolution, arbitration proceedings, and recovery matters, preferably in a corporate or manufacturing organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage all corporate legal matters, agreements, contracts, and legal documentation.
- Handle arbitration proceedings, legal disputes, litigation, and recovery cases.
- Develop and execute strategies for outstanding payment recovery and debt resolution.
- Coordinate with external advocates, law firms, courts, tribunals, and arbitration authorities.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, notices, legal opinions, and other legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, statutory requirements, and corporate regulations.
- Provide legal advice to management on business transactions, contractual risks, and dispute resolution.
- Monitor ongoing cases,



maintain legal records, and ensure timely follow-up on legal proceedings.
- Handle legal notices, claims, and disputes involving customers, vendors, employees, and other stakeholders.
- Support internal departments in mitigating legal risks and protecting the company's interests.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university; LL.M. will be an added advantage.
- 10–14 years of relevant experience in corporate legal affairs.
- Strong hands-on experience in arbitration, litigation, debt recovery, and dispute resolution in Corporate is mandatory.
- Experience in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, legal notices, and agreements for corporate is mandatory.
- Valuable knowledge of applicable corporate and commercial laws and legal procedures in India.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and case-management skills.

Candidate Requirements:
- Must be currently based in Kolkata, West Bengal.
- Must be willing to work from our Newtown, Kolkata office, 6 days a week.
- Must be available to join immediately or within 15 days.
- Candidates with experience in manufacturing, trading, or other corporate organizations will be preferred.
