Job Title: Senior Accountant / Accounts Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Inter CA Dropout candidate to manage the complete accounting and taxation activities of a jewellery showroom. The candidate should have strong knowledge of ledger scrutiny, account finalisation, GST, income tax compliance, and handling notices received from the GST and Income Tax Departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and financial transactions.
- Perform ledger scrutiny, ledger reconciliation, and rectification of accounting discrepancies.
- Manage complete accounting, including sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries.
- Handle jewellery inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
- Manage GST compliance, including GST calculations, returns, and reconciliations.
- Review, prepare, and submit replies to notices received from the GST Department.
- Handle Income Tax Department notices, prepare responses, and coordinate for timely submission.
- Assist in income tax return preparation, TDS compliance, and other statutory filings.




- Perform bank reconciliation, cash reconciliation, and customer/vendor ledger reconciliation.
- Verify invoices, purchase bills, sales bills, and supporting documents.
- Assist in monthly and annual account finalisation.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and other information required by management.
- Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, auditors, and tax consultants.
- Ensure timely compliance with applicable taxation laws and accounting standards.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
- Practical experience in ledger scrutiny and account finalisation.
- Experience in handling GST and Income Tax Department notices and drafting replies.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Solid analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage accounting records accurately and meet statutory deadlines.
- Jewellery industry accounting experience will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification
- Inter CA Dropout preferred.
- B.Com / M.Com with relevant experience may also be considered.

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per hour
