Role: Regional Vehicle Service Manager- Vehicle service delivery

About the Team and the Role:

The Vehicle service team at Ather is responsible for managing service delivery, service operations, and demand generation across regions, ensuring a seamless and superior customer experience through flagship workshops and dedicated territory management.

This role is for a key senior resource in the territory supervising service operations, team execution, workshop performance, warehouse inventory, and premises management to ensure high customer satisfaction and achieve projected volume plans.

Responsibilities

- Supervise service delivery, daily service operations, and demand generation while

overseeing manpower hiring and training in the territory.
- Lead and mentor regional teams and flagship workshop staff to ensure end-to-end

operational execution and superior customer experiences.
- Drive city-specific service KPIs and ensure overall business targets and projected volume

plans are achieved.
- Oversee payment collections from customers and deliver scooters with high satisfaction

levels.
- Monitor city warehouse operations, including inventory management and seamless

coordination with the central warehouse.
- Manage administrative duties for Ather premises within the city.
- Maintain operational cost controls across COGS, manufacturing, working capital, and

development budgets while scaling operations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Retail, Customer Service, Marketing, Customer

Quality, and Service Inventory teams.

Experience and Qualifications

- Graduate in Business or Engineering from a Tier I / Tier II institute.
- 12-15 years of experience managing service delivery operations, overseeing teams of





20+ members or managing 4+ workshops.

Must have Competencies

- Advanced proficiency in mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills for vehicle

troubleshooting.
- Expert service operation management capability to drive daily aftersales workflows and

city KPIs.
- Strong crisis management skills to navigate operational challenges and urgent service

demands.
- Critical thinking and strategic alignment for scaling service delivery and optimizing

operational costs.

- Functional understanding of Electric Vehicle (EV) technology and platform architecture.
- Aftersales operations strategy and multi-workshop management capability.
- Continuous improvement mindset for scaling operations and improving service value

delivery.
- Structured inventory and warehouse management coordination skills.
