Role & responsibilities

- ead and manage day-to-day R2R operations, ensuring timely and accurate completion of accounting and reporting activities.

- Oversee general ledger accounting, journal entries, accruals, prepayments, provisions, reclassifications, and other adjustment entries.

- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial transactions and general ledger balances.

- Monitor adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), service-level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process in accordance with the financial close calendar.

- Develop and monitor close plans, ensuring all activities are completed within defined timelines.

- Review and approve journal entries, accruals, provisions, and financial adjustments as per the approval matrix.

- Review trial balances, profit and loss accounts, and balance sheet movements.

- Oversee general ledger maintenance and ensure the integrity of financial records.

- Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring appropriate supporting documentation.

- Perform variance analysis and investigate significant or unusual fluctuations.
