Role Description The Quality Line Inspector – Production Line is a full time, on-site position based in Jamnagar, responsible for monitoring and maintaining quality standards across the production line. This role involves performing visual and dimensional inspections of metal components and wiring accessories, using appropriate measuring instruments and inspection tools. The inspector documents inspection results, identifies non-conformities, and works closely with production and quality teams to ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Day-to-day activities include sampling and testing parts,



verifying compliance with specifications and quality procedures, supporting in-line audits, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The role also includes maintaining accurate records, following safety and environmental guidelines, and collaborating with supervisors to prevent recurring defects and optimize process quality.

Qualifications

- Strong Quality Control and Inspection skills, including experience with visual checks, dimensional measurements, and use of gauges and other quality tools.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Management practices, such as adherence to SOPs, documentation standards, and continuous improvement methods.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends or root causes of defects, and recommend practical corrective and preventive actions.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, preferably in precision metal components or related industries.
- Familiarity with basic mechanical drawings, tolerances, and production processes; ability to read and understand technical specifications.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work effectively on the shop floor with cross-functional teams.
- Minimum of a relevant technical diploma or vocational qualification in mechanical, industrial, or production engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Commitment to workplace safety and environmental standards, with a willingness to learn and follow company quality and safety policies.
