Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Metallurgy / Industrial Engineering / Quality Engineering or equivalent.

Master's degree in Engineering / Quality / Operations Management would be an advantage.

AS9100 / ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.

Six Sigma Black Belt / Green Belt or equivalent quality qualification preferred.

Candidate Profile

20+ years of overall experience, with significant experience in Quality leadership.

Ideally 8 -10+ years in a senior Quality Management / Quality Head / Plant Quality leadership role.

Strong exposure to Aerospace, Precision Components, CNC Machining or highly engineered products.

Experience managing large Quality teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T;, machining processes and inspection methodologies.

Proven track record of reducing rejection, improving customer quality ratings and strengthening QMS.

Experience in dealing directly with OEMs, Tier-1 customers and international customers will be preferred.

Solid leadership, analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Ability to independently lead customer escalations and certification/customer audits.

Position Overview The incumbent will provide strategic and operational leadership for the organization's complete Quality function,



ensuring compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001 and applicable customer/regulatory requirements, while driving quality improvement, customer satisfaction, process capability and manufacturing excellence.

The role requires strong experience managing precision engineering and manufacturing quality, customer and certification audits, supplier quality, NPD quality, metrology, non-conformance management and continuous improvement.
