Role Description The Quality Control Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining quality standards across all fertilizer and phosphate manufacturing operations at the Dewas plant. This full-time, in office role includes planning and supervising laboratory testing, sampling of raw materials and finished products, and ensuring adherence to internal specifications, industry norms, and regulatory requirements. The role involves developing and updating quality control procedures, monitoring process parameters, investigating non-conformities, and coordinating corrective and preventive actions with production and maintenance teams.





The Quality Control

Manager will prepare and review quality reports, maintain documentation for audits, support continuous improvement initiatives, and provide training and guidance to quality control staff. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure safe operations, consistent product performance, and ongoing enhancement of quality practices.

Qualifications

- Strong background in quality management, including development and implementation of QC procedures, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive action planning.
- Hands-on experience with chemical testing, fertilizer or chemical process control, and familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Proficiency in data analysis, report preparation, and use of basic laboratory and quality control tools and instruments.
- Effective communication, team leadership, and stakeholder coordination skills to guide QC teams and collaborate with production, maintenance, and management.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Agriculture, or a related discipline; prior experience in fertilizer or chemical manufacturing is highly beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work on-site in Dewas and manage quality operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
