Job title: Quality Control Engineer – Ready-Mix Concrete

About the Company

We are a leading distributor of construction materials, currently specializing in Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC). As part of our growth strategy, we are diversifying into additional product lines, including Aggregates and Construction Chemicals. To support this expansion, we are looking for an experienced finance qualified to take ownership of our accounting function.

Job purpose

Ensure that raw materials, concrete production, testing, delivery, and site activities meet approved mix designs, project specifications, IS codes, and company standards.

Key responsibilities

Inspect and test cement, aggregates, admixtures, water, and other materials.

Prepare, review, and approve concrete mix designs and trial mixes.

Monitor batching, weighing accuracy, moisture correction, and plant operations.

Conduct slump, temperature, cube, and other concrete tests.

Monitor 7-day and 28-day compressive-strength results as per business requirements.

Check concrete quality during delivery and site placement.

Investigate low strength, segregation, slump variation, and customer complaints.

Maintain test reports, calibration records, mix designs, and quality documents.





Coordinate with production, dispatch, site teams, clients, and consultants.

Implement corrective and preventive actions.

Train laboratory technicians and plant staff on quality procedures.

Qualification and experience

Diploma in Civil Engineering.

1–3 years of experience in RMC, concrete testing, or construction quality control.

Knowledge of concrete mix design, IS codes, laboratory testing, and batching-plant operations.

Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
