Role Description The Quality Control Chemist (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur. The individual in this role will perform routine and advanced quality control testing on specialty organic chemicals and related products, ensuring they meet internal specifications, regulatory standards, and Ayurvedic formulation requirements.

Daily responsibilities include conducting laboratory analyses, preparing test reports, maintaining accurate documentation, and assisting in method validation and stability studies.

The Quality Control

Chemist will also support calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment, adhere to safety protocols and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and collaborate with R&D; and production teams to investigate out-of-specification results and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

- Robust Quality Control skills, including test method execution, documentation, and compliance with established standards.
- Proficient Laboratory Skills, including sample preparation, handling of chemicals,



and adherence to GLP and safety procedures.
- Robust Analytical Skills for interpreting test data, troubleshooting deviations, and supporting process improvements.
- Hands-on experience with Laboratory Equipment, including routine operation, maintenance, and Calibration of instruments.
- Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) or equivalent degree with understanding of Ayurvedic formulations and principles.
- Knowledge of basic organic chemistry, pharmaceutical or nutraceutical manufacturing processes, and quality systems.
- Ability to work systematically with attention to detail, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines in a laboratory environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, including R&D;, production, and regulatory.
- Familiarity with national and industry quality standards and guidelines; prior experience in a QC or analytical lab is an advantage.
