We are looking for an experienced ETL testing skilled to work with large datasets and validate data movement between source and target systems. The role focuses on data accuracy, completeness, integrity, data quality issue investigation, and improving ETL testing processes. The candidate should have strong SQL skills and experience with Spark, Hive, Snowflake, and data migration testing.

Responsibilities

- Work with large datasets and perform ETL testing, including thorough validation between source and target systems.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases,



and scripts to validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of data pipelines, ETL processes, and databases.
- Identify and investigate data anomalies, inconsistencies, and discrepancies; troubleshoot data quality issues.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and maintain data quality standards.
- Document test plans, results, and data quality issues, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Recommend improvements to data quality processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Automate data validation and testing where possible to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

- 6 years of total technical experience in ETL testing.
- Experience developing ETL test plans and test cases and validating large-scale data migrations.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes, SQL, Spark, Hive, and data migration.
- Advanced SQL query-writing skills and hands-on experience with Hive, Spark, Spark SQL, and the DataFrame API.
- Experience with Snowflake data warehousing.
- Experience with data quality automation tools and frameworks.
- Ability to document and present findings clearly and concisely.




- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Experience with additional ETL testing, data quality automation tools, or frameworks.
