Role Description

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with strong expertise in Django to join our technology team in Pune. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and optimizing scalable web applications and backend systems. You will work closely with the product, data science, and engineering teams to build reliable and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python and Django.
- Build and manage RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications and external systems.
- Design, develop, and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models.
- Write clean, reusable, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services into existing applications.




- Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and technical challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment activities.
- Follow coding standards, security best practices, and version control practices.

Required Skills and Qualification

- 1–3 years of professional experience in Python development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Django is mandatory.
- Good understanding of Django REST Framework (DRF) and REST API development.
- Proficiency in database management using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases.
- Experience with ORM, database queries, and schema design.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and web application security.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

Positive to Have

- Experience with FastAPI or Flask.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
