Perform accurate quantity take-offs from AutoCAD drawings and technical specifications.
Conduct physical site measurements and verify "as-built" quantities against theoretical estimates.
Prepare detailed estimations for new project requirements, variations, and change orders.
Estimate material consumption (e.g., SFRM, intumescent coatings, steel) and ensure wastage factors are optimized.
This role will involve travelling to sites for monthly quantity approvals, and assist accounting for raising proforma and tax invoices.
1. Procurement & Vendor Management
Prepare Comparative Statements by analysing quotes from multiple vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness. Generate and track Purchase Orders (POs) for materials, machinery, and consumables.
Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of site requirements.
1. Resource & Logistics Estimation
Estimate manpower requirements based on project timelines and work volume. Calculate machinery and equipment requirements for specific sites.
Plan and estimate logistics and mobilization costs,
including transport of heavy machinery and materials to sites.
1. Plant & Machinery Coordination
Track and estimate costs related to machine maintenance and spare parts inventory. Ensure all specialized equipment is serviced and operational to prevent project downtime.
1. Project Monitoring & Coordination
Collaborate with site engineers and project managers to reconcile estimated vs. actual consumption. Prepare periodic project cost reports and budget tracking.
Coordinate between the head office, vendors, and site teams to ensure seamless execution.
Mobilization, demobilization, monthly estimations and related coordination.
