Roles & Responsibilities:
- Analyze technical drawings, specifications, and RFQs to prepare accurate cost estimates for machining and fabrication projects.
- Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams to collect required inputs for project planning and costing.
- Prepare detailed project proposals, including cost breakdowns, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Evaluate and select appropriate materials, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure cost efficiency and quality standards.
- Maintain and regularly update costing databases and historical records for future reference.
- Support project scheduling, resource allocation, and progress monitoring activities.
- Ensure all estimates and project plans comply with industry standards, company policies, and customer requirements.
- Assist in risk assessments and recommend suitable contingency measures.
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers and customers to ensure smooth project execution.
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong understanding of CNC machining and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
