Role Description This is a full time, on-site role for a Professor of Finance based at the Ranchi location, with responsibilities aligned to Amity University standards and practices, and collaboration that may extend to the Hyderabad campus as needed. The Professor of Finance will design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate finance courses, including lectures, case discussions, workshops, and seminars. Daily responsibilities include preparing teaching materials, mentoring students, supervising research projects, and evaluating assignments and examinations.

The role involves conducting and publishing high-quality research in finance and related fields,



contributing to curriculum development, and participating in academic committees and departmental initiatives. The professor will also engage with industry and professional bodies, support accreditation and quality assurance activities, and represent the university in academic and corporate forums.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Finance and Corporate Finance, with the ability to teach core and advanced courses in these areas.
- Candidates should possess solid grounding in Accounting and Economics to support interdisciplinary teaching and research.
- Candidates should possess robust Research skills, including designing studies, using quantitative and qualitative methods, and publishing in reputable journals.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills to facilitate effective learning.
- Ph.D. in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
- Demonstrated record of scholarly publications, sponsored research, or consulting in relevant domains.
- Prior experience in teaching at the university level, preferably at the professor or associate professor rank.
- Ability to integrate industry practices into coursework and maintain strong professional and corporate networks.
