Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Professor of Finance based at Amity University’s Hyderabad campus. The Professor of Finance will design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in finance and related disciplines, ensuring that the curriculum remains current, industry-relevant, and academically rigorous.

Responsibilities include preparing lectures and course materials, mentoring and advising students, supervising research projects, and evaluating student performance through assignments, examinations,



and presentations. The role involves active engagement in scholarly research, publishing in reputable journals, and participating in academic conferences and seminars. The professor will also contribute to departmental activities, curriculum development, collaboration with industry partners, and institutional initiatives that support academic excellence and student success.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in core Finance areas, including Corporate Finance and related specializations.
- Solid foundation in Accounting and its application to financial decision-making.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Economics as it relates to financial markets and policy.
- Proven research skills, including the ability to conduct independent and collaborative scholarly work.
- Relevant doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field.
- Prior teaching experience at the university level with evidence of effective classroom instruction.
- Record of publications in peer-reviewed journals and participation in academic or professional conferences.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in an academic environment.
- Experience integrating industry practices into teaching and curriculum design is highly desirable.
