We are hiring for an Application Production Support position.

Job Details:

Position: Application Production Support – L2

Experience: 2.1–5 Years

Location: Mumbai

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners / Up to 30 Days Preferred

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle incidents, service requests, and changes for predefined applications.
- Ensure all activities meet defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets.
- Escalate issues to the Paris teams when the required knowledge or skills are not available locally.
- Coordinate with Paris Operations teams and other IT teams, including Incident Management, Security, Infrastructure, and Development.
- Participate in knowledge transfer activities with the Paris Operations teams.
- Help define and maintain team procedures and processes.
- Prepare regular activity reports and contribute to KPI calculations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support ITSM processes, including incident, problem, change, release, and project management.
- Review ITSM processes and recommend improvements.
- Maintain accurate service catalogues and process documentation.
- Ensure IT services align with business requirements and SLAs.

Required Technical Skills:





- Solid knowledge of Oracle, PL/SQL, and Unix.
- Knowledge of Linux/Windows administration.
- Familiarity with Oracle, SQL Server, and MongoDB databases.
- Ability to execute basic scripts and database queries.
- Experience with ServiceNow ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with Autosys scheduling.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, SysDig, or Kibana.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as GitLab, Ansible, and Jenkins.
- Scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably IBM Cloud.
- Understanding of ITIL or similar ITSM frameworks.
- Knowledge of backup, high availability, and disaster recovery setups.
- Familiarity with Red Hat Linux, Windows, AIX, WAS, CFT, and MQ Series.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand application functionality and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
