- Process optimization: Design, develop, and implement productive and cost-effective manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures. Conduct feasibility studies for new product manufacturing.
- Team mentor: Supervise and mentor technical staff, providing guidance and support to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Continuous improvement: Drive lean manufacturing principles, such as Kaizen, and 5S, to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Cost analysis: Estimate cycle times, tooling costs, and overall part costs for components, providing overhead calculations to support quoting and budgeting.
- Documentation and standardization: Prepare and release process sheets, setup sheets, and routing plans.
Standardize work-holding, tooling, SOP, WI, and inspection methods across all production lines and with suppliers.
- Vendor management: Support the vendor development team by conducting process audits, capability assessments, and offering technical guidance.
- Reporting: Analyze production data and prepare regular reports for senior management on performance metrics, project status, and cost savings.
- Support to Maintenance team for MTTR, MTBF and installation of new machinery if any.
