Hiring: Production Support Engineer – MFT

Location: Pune / Hyderabad

Mandatory Skill: IBM HTTP Server (IHS)

We are looking for an experienced Production Support Engineer with strong expertise in Managed File Transfer (MFT) platforms to support critical enterprise file transfer services in a 24x7 production environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2/L3 production support for MFT platforms, including IBM Sterling Integrator, Sterling File Gateway, Connect and Sterling Secure Proxy.
- Monitor file transfers, troubleshoot failures, and ensure timely resolution of production incidents.
- Perform health checks, certificate renewals, user provisioning and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Work with Linux/Unix, Windows, network and middleware teams to resolve technical issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
- Ensure SLA adherence, maintain documentation and follow ITIL processes.
- Improve monitoring, automation and operational efficiency.





Required Skills & Experience
- 8 years of overall IT experience, including 4 years in MFT production support.
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience with IBM HTTP Server (IHS).
- Strong knowledge of IBM Sterling File Gateway/Sterling Integrator, Connect or similar MFT tools.
- Valuable understanding of SFTP, FTPS, AS2, HTTPS and file transfer protocols.
- Experience with Linux/Unix, Windows and monitoring tools such as Splunk or AppDynamics.
- Knowledge of incident, problem, change and release management.
- Excellent communication, troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to work in a 24x7 shift environment.
