Position Overview

- Role: Executive - Production
- Department: Production / Operations / Commercial

- Location: Khatraj / Gandhinagar / Kalol (Onsite)
- Salary: Up to 5 LPA (Commensurate with experience)

Core Technical & Manufacturing Responsibilities:
- Extrusion & Printing Machinery Mastery: Demonstrate direct operational knowledge and experience handling Blown Film Extrusion lines, Rotogravure Printing machines, Flexographic (Flexo) Printing machines, and high-speed Sealing/Pouch-making machines.
- Pre-Press & Tooling Expertise: Apply deep technical understanding of the Cylinder Making Process (for Rotogravure), Stereo Making Process, and Drums maintenance and management (for Flexographic printing).
- Chemistry & Substrates Knowledge: Utilize precise technical knowledge regarding inks and chemical applications, combined with an in-depth understanding of the properties, performance, and behavior of different types of packaging films.
- Color Matching Excellence: Execute accurate and high-quality technical color matching to meet strict customer and brand specifications.
- Line Execution & Shift Operations: Execute daily production schedules on flexible pouch-making lines. Take full responsibility for managing operators, meeting daily targets, and maintaining optimal machine speed and cycle times.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Monitor and optimize technical parameters across varied pouch formats (including center seal, 3-side seal, stand-up pouches, zipper installation, and spout sealing).



Identify root causes of film/pouch defects (like curling, poor sealing, or delamination) and apply swift solutions.
- Quality Assurance & Material Efficiency: Take absolute ownership of product quality during shifts (seal integrity, dimensions, visual defects). Optimize the usage of multi-layer films, laminates, and adhesives to minimize scrap/wastage and control operating costs.
- Operational Excellence: Track and report production KPIs (OEE, wastage percentage, downtime). Participate actively in 5S and Lean manufacturing initiatives to boost plant productivity and reduce setup times.
- Safety & Environment: Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) rules, ensuring safe operations and maintaining a clean, dust-free shop floor.

Commercial & Operational Alignment:
- Evaluate production requirements by aligning machinery capabilities with commercial viability.
- Leverage expertise in films, inks, cylinders, and stereos to calculate exact material consumption and assist in cost estimation.
- Coordinate effectively with pre-press agencies (cylinder/stereo makers) and raw material vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.

Candidate Requirements

- Education: Any Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma / ITI / Equivalent to Graduation.
- Relevant Experience: 2 to 10 years of active technical and operational experience in Flexible Pouches/Packaging production.
- Key Competencies:

o Solid hands-on knowledge of blown film extrusion, rotogravure printing, and flexo processes.

o Proven troubleshooting and technical experience in color matching, ink/chemical behavior, cylinder processing, and polymer films.
